What RigExit Is

RigExit is a free directory that answers one question fast: who can tow a semi-truck from where I'm broken down, right now? It covers more than 22,800 interstate exits, 7,900 cities, and 19,000 heavy-duty towing companies across all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

There is no call center, no lead reselling, and no markup. Every listing shows the company's own phone number, so you call the operator directly and negotiate directly. RigExit never sits in the middle of a tow.

Who Builds It

RigExit is an independent one-person operation, built and run by its founder. The data pipeline, the maps, the listings, and this page are all maintained by the same person. There is no company behind the company.

The site exists because finding a heavy wrecker at 2 a.m. on an unfamiliar stretch of interstate is still absurdly hard. Search results are dominated by national lead-generation middlemen who take a cut and dispatch whoever pays them, not whoever is closest. RigExit flips that: it organizes the actual local operators around the actual exit you're stopped at.
