What RigExit Is
RigExit is a free directory that answers one question fast: who can tow a semi-truck from this location, right now? It covers more than 22,800 interstate exits, 7,900 cities, and 19,000 heavy-duty towing companies across all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
There is no call center, no lead reselling, and no markup. Every listing shows the company's own phone number, so you call the operator directly and negotiate directly. RigExit never sits in the middle of a tow.
Who Operates It
RigExit is an independently operated platform. The data pipeline, the mapping infrastructure, the listings, and this page are maintained in-house. The platform is not affiliated with any lead-generation network, dispatch service, or towing company.
The platform exists because locating a heavy wrecker at 2 a.m. on an unfamiliar stretch of interstate remains unnecessarily difficult. Search results are dominated by national lead-generation intermediaries that take a commission and dispatch whoever pays them rather than whoever is closest. RigExit inverts that model: it organizes the actual local operators around the actual exit where the vehicle is stopped.
